DRIVE Driving School ADI

Well done Atik Sbai DVSA ADI!

Atik’s Testimonial
“Hi Adam,
I hope you’re ok, I’m sorry I didn’t get in touch sooner because I had an operation on my shoulder straightaway after passing my part 3.
First of all I would like to thank you and the smart driving team for all the help provided specially Claire, what a nice lady.”
Why did you want to become an instructor, Atik?
I’m running my courier franchise and because things in life change so quick I wanted to retrain so I can have something to fall back on and work in my area, I’ve had enough of London jams.

What did you do at the time?
I’m running at the moment my courier franchise.

What made you choose us?
To be honest I’ve chosen smart driving because for me the price was affordable, but I will recommend it to PDIs because of the brilliant layout and it’s full of important knowledge

What advice would you give another person looking to be an instructor?
The only advise to anyone doing it is to take it step by step as recommended at the beginning, cutting corners it’s a big no no.
My advice to somebody trying to become an ADI Is they need to have a lot of patience, and they need to know how to teach and coach at the same time, it can be achieved with a bit of hard work and practice as with everything in life. “Is not easy as it looks”

How has this changed your life so far?

There is something I keep hearing from young people because I’m involved in coaching football that a lot of ADIs are too friendly, meaning too much friendly less teaching. It’s nice to be cheerful but we need to remember that for a lot of youngsters learning to drive is an expensive business so we need to spend every second they’re paying for teaching not discussing life, TV series or telling jokes.

Congratulations to Atik Sbai DVSA ADI on his Part 3 Success!
Well done Atik and good luck in your new career!
Atik trained with us in Essex and passed on the 6th May 2016. All of your hard work has paid off.
