“Well, we have another driving test myth for you here. And this is from Rachel. Hi Rachel. “How many faults will fail me?”
So, it’s not really a myth. It’s a question. Well, faults are in three types. The first one is the driving fault. You might know that as a minor fault. You can have as many as 15 minor faults – driving faults – on the test before you then will fail.
Anything thereafter will fail you or one serious fault or one dangerous fault. So, either a serious or a dangerous, that’s a fail straight away.
So, minor faults therefore are very important because a few moments sooner or later the traffic situation will have changed slightly and you can have a minor fault become serious or dangerous.
Similarly, repeated results of the same problem could also result in a fail as well because that’s seen as either serious or dangerous.”
