Don't Assume You've Failed

“Don’t assume that you’ve failed. It’s rare for any driving test result to show no fault and fantastic for those who do achieve this. It’s likely that you will get some.

But don’t try and keep count of what you believe are the fault, this is a distraction you don’t need, you can do without. You’ve got 15 minor faults before you fail on number 16 and to be fair, that’s quite a lot isn’t it? So keep positive and if you feel you messed up, concentrate on showing the examiner your best, even with those mistakes.

Stalling for example is a very common worry for learners, though not for those driving automatics, hybrids or electric cars. But it doesn’t automatically mean a fail.

Just keep calm and remember that moving off checks are very very important and hope that it wasn’t in a very serious or dangerous situation.”
