What if you’re on a road with bus stops. There are people at every bus stop. Well they’ll be waiting for a bus I presume and that bus is probably behind you.
If the road has bus stops but nobody there, this might indicate that people have already gone. They’ve got on the bus. Where’s the bus? The bus is ahead somewhere, possibly around the corner.”
