Common Part 2 Faults

“The top 3 faults recorded on tests are:

Junctions: Observations
Mirrors: Changing direction
Control: Steering

It’s worth noting that all these faults are pretty easy to fix – it’s the lack of attention to detail that usually leads to faults in these areas.

It’s quite uncommon to hear of faults caused by another road user – you are responsible for the vehicle you are driving and how you respond to other road users.

If you follow the course correctly, and make the most of your in-car training, you should be aware of any potential weaker areas in your driving, practice to eliminate any weakness and sail to a pass on your Part 2 test.”
