“Your in-car training will not always take place near your closest test centre. This should not be an issue. The in-car training is an opportunity for your skills to be pressure tested by your in-car trainer and is not for gaining familiarity with the test area. Even if you’re in an unfamiliar area this will prepare you for if the examiner takes you to an area you have no local knowledge of.”
