DRIVE are looking for the right person (people) to complement their recruitment team.

OTE £48,000 | Work from home | 4 weeks’ holiday | Sick Pay | Pension Scheme.

Part of the SmartDriving family, DRIVE Driving School has grown beyond expectations since the lockdowns lifted and the demand for instructors is greater than ever before.  

We need to recruit new trainee driving instructors and, we hope that you can help us do this. 

THE JOB

*Working from home, you will speak to potential trainees via email and telephone and the occasional Zoom webinar. 

*You will ensure they fully understand what is involved in becoming a driving instructor and how it will change their lives.

*You will take them from initial enquiry to payment and enrolment.

*The hours are flexible but full -time. Some weekend and evening work may be needed, but mostly office hours.

THE CANDIDATE

*You will have a passion for being a driving instructor and for the industry as a whole.

*You will have a genuine passion for people and helping them.

*    You will be self driven and able to work on your own initiative, but as part of a very supportive team.

*  You will be happy working to monthly deadlines and targets (although they are reasonable and realistic targets)

IDEAL REQUIREMENTS

*The ideal candidate will be close to the NE or NW of England, but for the right candidate this is not an issue.

*You will have an ADI qualification ( or perviously held this).

* You will have Sales experience.  You will be confident working on the telephone.

*You will be confident with basic IT applications ( such as email, updating records, using online systems) but full training will be given.

APPLICATION AND STARTING

  We are looking for a start date of April 2023.

  We fully appreciate the ideal candidate may be an active ADI, and we have experience of managing this.   

As we would be looking for an April start date, we would work with you as you scaled down your driving lessons and started learning your new role.

During this period, pay would be pro-rata based on the full OTE income.

PAY AND HOURS

The hours are Full Time and we would expect approx 40 hrs of work.

Days of work are up to you to get the job done, but we do expect the odd evening and weekend call to be taken, especially at the end of the month when we are busy.

The basic salary is £20,000 pa, but the OTE are easily achievable and are regularly exceeded.
