Part 1 Motivation

“Once you start Part 1, you’ll have to make your way through the multiple choice and foundation questions. This can be a tough and potentially lonely time. However, once you’ve made a start, the training support team can help you with any obstacles in your way during your self-study.

One thing we recommend is creating a study plan where you can breakdown tasks into manageable chunks. If you complete the first unit of Part 1 and realise it takes you just short of two sessions of study, you can allocate specific time for studying specific units. As an example, working through one study unit across two days.

This allows you to map out your study time and stay motivated by being on track with your own plan for learning. Another thing that can help is creating a dedicated space for studying. Whether that be a dsek or a section of your laptop, where you can minimise distractions and solely focus on working through the study units.

Remember why you’re doing this, creating a list to remember why you want to become an ADI and putting it in your study space can really help you keep motivated and driven to study harder and succeed.

Baring in mind, your CRB will take around 10 weeks to complete, use this time to get a fantastic headstart on your studies before booking your Part 1 theory test.”
