Stuck in Traffic - Easier to Pass?

“We’ve got another driving test myth here. This time it’s from Johnny. And Johnny says ‘getting stuck in traffic means less chance of failing.’

Well, test routes are designed to avoid regularly busy areas that would have you sitting in traffic for a long time. In exceptional cases, the examiner would simply reroute and take you somewhere else. In some cases, therefore, you might end up getting back to the test centre a bit late.

In very rare situations, you might have the test cancelled but that means you haven’t passed or failed the test. You simply have got the test cancelled and you’d have to arrange to make another test. That would not cost you any money. You would not have to pay for another test fee.”
