Well, that’s not going to happen if you do it safely or legally. Safely and legally. If you take a wrong turn into a a no entry street, then they’ll fail you. If you turn into a bus only lane or street, then you’ve got a problem there, too. If you’re in a left turn only lane and you go straight ahead or turn right or whatever, then that’s going to cause you problems as well. But if you simply take a left instead of a right or just the wrong exit at a roundabout, but do everything safely, then that’s not going to give you a problem.
Your examiner will redirect you as best as possible back onto the test route. And in fact, you’ll get no faults if you’re doing it safely and legally. And there’s actually no box on the examiner’s marking sheet about taking the wrong turn. So, don’t worry if you turn the wrong turn.”
