“Hi there. In this video, I want to tell you about the case study part of the theory test.
As you’ll know, within the theory test, you have to answer 50 multiple choice questions. Each multiple choice question has got four options so you need to pick one out of the four. Now, three of those multiple choice questions relate to a case study and the case study is shown to you by virtue of a 20 second or so video.
The video is of a driving situation and it’s showing you driving through a junction or a roundabout, past a school, on a dual carriageway, on a motorway or something similar. So a 20 second video, a bit like a dash cam.
The three questions after that relate to that driving situation. So, you’ll be asked questions about who has priority in a situation, what were the lane markings, what did they mean, what was the prevailing speed limit at the time and that sort of thing.
So there you have it. 50 questions within the theory test and three of those are about a driving situation that you’re shown via a 20 second or so video.
