“Hazards are broken down into three categories. Potential hazards, developing hazards and actual hazards.
An example of a developing hazard could be a pedestrian with a dog walking on the pavement. That hazard could start to develop as the pedestrian walks towards a zebra crossing. The actual hazard would be when you need to start braking to slow down for the crossing.
The DVSA have only produced a limited number of CGI clips. Therefore, we recommend practicing with both the CGI clips and the high definiton clips that were previously used on hazard perception tests. This allows you to get as much practice as possible, maximising your chances of passing the hazard perception test first time.”
