What Does it Mean to be Test Ready?

“What does it mean to be test ready? It means the instructor has seen you driving over lots and lots of lessons and in many driving situations and feels that now you are capable of driving on your own as the start of a lifetime of safe driving.

You’ll now be able to spend lots of money on a car and insurance, servicing costs, fuel, possibly an MOT and road fund licence.

If you decide to opt out of insurane or one of those, you’ll be rapidly on your way to losing your licence. Just six points in your first two years and you’ll need to take your tests again.

That’s the theory test and the practical test. You can then only imagine the problems you’ll have getting insurance. If you’re going for a job involving driving, then kiss that one goodbye as you’ll not have a clean licence.”
